"Small, basic hotel with small, basic rooms at small, basic rates. The small, recurring sewer smell wasn't good (#3 needs a deeper plumbing trap under the sink), but it was clean, the bed was comfy & the hot shower was nice (don't take TOO long)--as was the staff. The location is PERFECT! I’ll stay again. (No elevator) "

"I consider Hotel Plaza Colonial to be one of the nicest hotels in Campeche since it has a great decor, location and staff. The one thing that I noticed is the bathroom plumbing maintenance is not happening. For example, lifting the handle in the bath tub causes a loud vibration that can be heard in the room next door."
