“A sensação de ficar hospedado neste hotel é como voltar no tempo. Foi um prazer ficar hospedado no Casa dele XVI. Gostaria de ter ficado mais tempo. Muito bem localizado para quem deseja conhecer a Zona Colonial.”

“The hotel is literally emblematic, just the history alone makes the stay worth it. All the staff was very friendly, the location couldn’t be better, just keep in mind the guy who built the city, this was he’s house!! The whole zona colonial was very safe and fun many attractions to see. The hotel has a DJ in the pool area for chill not too loud afternoons. Everything about this hotel was amazing. I’ve traveled around the world and this is definitely in my top 10 hotels.”

“Great hotel and the staff was very helpful and friendly. I did not like that they had a wedding in the main area. Could not come or go without having to walk right through the middle of the wedding ceremony and they need to have ironing board and iron in the rooms.”

“I stayed in El Beaterio for 4 nights. It’s such a beautiful casa museo located in a quiet area. The room is nice and clean decorated with old maps of La española. The courtyard has lots of sunlight and plants that I enjoyed my breakfast here (though you need to apply mosquito repellent as they are quite active if you come in early morning like 6-8am) Check out the terrace in the early morning and you would get a nice photo with sun rise. The staff here are very nice. I stayed in the room……

“This property is in a great location for the historic colonial area of Santo Domingo. We had a rental car and had no problem finding parking the 3 days for our visit. The hotel is right on the pedestrian walkway. The room was great and the staff were wonderful. The breakfast was great too every morning.”

“On n’est même pas rentré à la maison car le secteur était très dangereux. On s’est croisé avec une chicane plein de monde, des bâtons et même un fusil. Pas du tout la zona colonial très dangereux pour les touriste. ”

“An der angegebenen Adresse existiert überhaupt kein Hotel. Mir wurde am Anreisetag mitgeteilt, dass das Hotel angeblich geschlossen sei und ich woanders untergebracht werde. Das andere Hotel ist in Ordnung jedoch weiß das Personal nicht gut Bescheid und es kostet viel Zeit und Nerven vor Ort zu klären, dass man eigentlich woanders reserviert und schon bezahlt hat. Wirkt insgesamt alles etwas verdächtig. ”

“Such a beautiful and well-kept small hotel. Most of the staff were super nice and helpful; I only had some issues with the check with the initial receptionist who kept getting upset with me for irrelevant things but it seems she was upset that I knew Spanish and was confronting her for her attitude... other than that the general staff was amazing, rooms were clean and tidy. The included breakfast was delicious and we even purchased extra items throughout our stay since they have a nice bar and……

“302房间是带圆形阳台的，特别棒！在这里住了两天，第一天在304，没有阳台，很幸运第二天换到了304。酒店位于殖民区的中间，在美洲大教堂的旁边，去周围的景点很方便。附近停车位不太好找。”
