. The staff are all (and I mean all) friendly, personable and helpful. The rooms are luxurious, including the beds and washrooms, without being overly showy. The views overlooking the

are stunning. Maratea itself is definitely a nice little town and Il Santavenere is a hidden gem in Basilicata. We're already planning our next trip back and can't wait...

"Stay was saved by the pool, table tennis and a comfortable bed. Be prepared to drive a lot as not much in walking distance. Breakfast was poor. Shower was rubbish as shower head broken. No multilingual staff."

"Very beautiful and well equipped house with wonderful garden and spectacular view - perfect stay! Stefania gave us a lot of useful tips and suggesrions for beaches and restaurants near by and was always ready to help. The access to the house was a bit rough, but we fot used to it at the end. Lots of little secluded beaches with pebbles to discover. Highly recommended. Thank you Stefania for a wonderful vacation!"
