Good varied breakfast

Great location and beautiful hotel. Photos on site are misleading. Hotel is nowhere near any of the famous sites looking out windows or from the rooftop. However, it’s still a very nice place to stay. Bathroom was not designed well. Water was everywhere from the shower. Staff was very nice and helpful.

Loved the Poblenau neighborhood where this hotel is located--it's a quiet untouristed area a few metro or bus stops from the main attractions, with a thriving dining and shopping scene that feels much more local than other areas overrun by tourists like the Gothic and La Rambla areas. The hotel offers an excellent buffet breakfast to start one's day (extra charge) and the room we had was roomy and clean and quiet, with the one quibble being the bath/shower had temperature that kept changing from cold to scalding hot. Staff was polite and helpful.

Spacious, clean and updated rooms. Laundry was handy, but most were under repair.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Petit Palace. The staff was amazing. They were very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and quiet. They have a very nice happy hour and our bartender Jordi was outstanding. Great service with a smile and great drinks. The location of the hotel was perfect right in the heart of the gothic district with so much to see and so. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay there on our next trip to Barcelona. We highly recommend this hotel.

The airport shuttle did not exist. We had to take a cab from the airport, which was fine. Check in went ok, but the wifi didn't work and the front desk wasn't interested in trying to help even after the second call. The bar closed a half hour early so I can't report on that either. Otherwise, the rooms and building seemed really nice.

From the moment we arrived to the day we checked out, this outstanding staff of professional, knowledgeable and welcoming men and women anticipated our wants and/or needs before we could request them! The buffet breakfast was wonderful and not confined to the buffet items. You can order from their full breakfast menu for no extra charge. The Concierge group was fantastic! They recommended restaurants within walking distance and made reservations, called for a ride when we needed Uber or Taxis, and advised on certain attractions we were interested in. Our room was immaculate! Loved the 'secret toilet". Hint...you push the wall to reveal only the toilet - the sink and shower are open and there are no other doors which doesn't provide much privacy but still thought this was unique! Our room was cleaned daily and turned down our beds each evening...with a chocolate treat. Thank you, Ohla Barcelona, for making this a sweet, memorable stay.
