Northern Australia Adventure Holidays

This place was amazing. We got the family room, garden view and you were in the rainforest! Small stream, plenty of wildlife ( frogs, hopping mice, fruit bats ). Own on site restaurant plus a pizza place. Happy hour cocktails 4-5pm. 3 pools, we had a private pool late night swims recommended to avoid other people, all heated. Lovely helpful staff, rooms were large and clean. Downsides: no pay tv only free to air so either upgrade or bring a laptop. The 'locals' like to smoke alot and don't stick to the smoking areas they will smoke everywhere and seeps into your room. The mattresses very uncomfortable i had to request a mattress topper. Otherwise i would stay here again. Large and quiet!

Wonderful place to stay in great location

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are large and well accommodated... lots of plug outlets for modern travelers. (Free movies that we did not take advantage of as the weather was too good to be indoors.) Bathroom supplies were wonderful and plentiful. The espresso machine in the common area was fantastic. Location was also very good... within 2 blocks of everything we wanted to do and visit. There was also free laundry... here you need to patient as there is only one washer and dryer for 32 units... but the machines were modern and detergent and softener are included. We were very impressed with everything!

We stayed in Morris #517. This is an excellent well appointed, clean and remodeled unit. Some of the common areas have not been as well maintained, and a number of areas are currently being worked on. This is a mix of long term rentals, residents and short term holiday units. The local by the Cultural district is unparalleled in Cairns and makes this a great choice for active folks. the airplanes do land/take off nearby, so if that would be a bother to you please be sure to consider. For us, no worries.
