"We have stayed previously at the Clayton Hotel. Prior to this stay, we had a great experience in this hotel! Unfortunately, this time around, there was no air conditioning in the two rooms that we had. Also, the windows only opens slightly and therefore, no breeze either. In this recent heatwave in Ireland, it was sweltering in our room. None of us got a good night’s sleep.
When we brought up the lack of air conditioning to the staff at checkout, they said there was nothing they could...
"Very stuffy, hot and uncomfortable rooms. As the rooms more or less face the airport, you can’t keep the window open due to noise. No A/C - just a sad dusty Dyson fan"
"We stayed here for one night before flying back to the US from Dublin. It was a nice way to end a long trip. Very comfortable rooms and beds and peaceful, beautiful grounds. The drinks in the bar were good and breakfast in the morning was perfect before heading to the airport."
