Return visitor within a week for St Kilda Film Festival. Coming back next month so I’ve already rebooked.

Great reception team, brilliant location. We upgraded to a 1brm suite - really worth it, made the weekend super relaxed

It’s value for money. Kids friendly, has warm pool, hot jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Enough shower rooms. (This facility area is not cleaned often due to high traffic, I feel the floor is a little too wet to walk around. I reckon the cleaning is overall too casually done.) The room was big, 2 double beds enough for 2 adults and 2 kids. (A little downside is there is a sewage smell when I entered the room, wasn’t pleasant but I just tried to ignore) I appreciate the early check in at 2pm, staffs were friendly and helpful. Location was great, walking distance to eateries and tram stops. We will go back for another staycation if there is good deal again!

Fridge can be a little bit noisy at night, but apart from that everything was good.

While this is a beautiful old hotel, it does come with some issues. The HVAC in our room did not work. We asked 3 times to get fixed. Luckily the windows can open but the street noise was very loud. The shower was nice but water splashed everywhere due to the small glass door and very slippery. Dated but full of charm. Not a 5 star but perhaps a 4.
