This was our first trip to Hawai’i and we were so glad we chose the Outrigger Reef Waikiki! I first want to mention the Hawaiian music from local artists that occurred in the Kani Ka Pila Grill, the front bar and restaurant area. You could sit at a table or the bar area to listen or also enjoy the music from the beautiful pool area. The other restaurant, Monkeypod Kitchen, also had live music daily, as well as delicious food and Mai Tais. All of the staff we met were friendly and helpful, and the hotel is located right on the beach. Everyday there are cultural activities available, such as bamboo print making, that you can try out if you would like. Choosing this hotel made our stay in Oahu perfect and we’re so glad we did!
