The staff were so unfriendly. Did not have greetings when we arrived. The hallway to the room smelled smoke although it’s non-smoking rooms and with a sign of it. We were not greeted with what amenities are available for us including airport transfers. I found the carpet in the rooms dirty and outdated.

This is a clean and lovely hotel with spacious, quiet, comfortable rooms. The breakfast buffet was not the best but it was pretty good. My only (small) complaint is that they charged an extra fee for use of the gym.
It is a 10 minute walk to the nearest subway station (Waseda), but they run a shuttle every half hour to Takadanobaba station.
