Great location with beach just over the road. Was like a tranquil oasis away from the great hustle and bustle of Krabi. Spa experiences were amazing after adventure days island hopping.

Here’s a more elevated, luxury-travel version while still sounding genuine and personal: We had an exceptional stay at BlueSotel Smart Krabi and were genuinely impressed from the moment we arrived. We decided to upgrade our room at check-in, and the staff graciously accommodated us with an early check-in, which was such a wonderful way to begin our stay. The entire property feels modern, stylish, and beautifully maintained. Every staff member we encountered was warm, attentive, and incredibly accommodating. The rooftop pool was an absolute highlight—the stunning views, beautiful setting, and relaxed atmosphere made it the perfect place to unwind. The location is another major plus. The hotel is just steps from the beach and within easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, and access to take the speedboat to the other islands, making it incredibly convenient while still feeling like a relaxing escape. We would absolutely stay at BlueSotel Smart again and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a stylish and memorable stay in Ao Nang, Krabi.

We had a wonderful stay at Varana Hotel in Krabi. The hotel is beautifully designed, aesthetic, and meticulously maintained. The staff is exceptionally welcoming and always happy to help with a smile at any time. The facilities are top-notch: the fitness center is hands down one of the best you'll find in a hotel, and the spa and treatment area is of a very high standard. A couple of things to keep in mind: Spa amenities: The wet/dry sauna is only open for about three hours a day (split into single-hour slots) and comes with an extra fee, which was a bit disappointing. Location: The hotel is located about a 15-minute drive from central Ao Nang. This means you will likely find yourself commuting there once or twice a day if you're looking for attractions or taking boat trips to the islands (like Railay or Phi Phi), which are a must-do.

Room and the all hotel is so old. And not maintained well. From room door to windows are not functioning as they should be. No nets at the windows so the insects are welcomed to the rooms. Staff is very friendly but the resort needs for a renewal. We won’t go back again.
