The room was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. As an English-speaking tourist, the front desk staff were able to speak English, which was very helpful. The location is near many shops and public transportation so getting around the city is easy.

We absolutely loved our room. Spacious and clean and had everything we needed. Gorgeous view from the balcony. Highly recommend! Only complaints are minor. The staff did not speak much English so be prepared for that. Also you cannot use the gym if you do not have designated indoor only gym shoes so be aware of that as well. Great location and nice restaurants at the hotel as well. 2 beautiful pools. Would stay there again!

They were going through remodeling so only one elevator was working and that was very slow and inconvenient. Not much service as far as the staff.

I was impressed with the staff service. What I would like is a laundry room available for the guests just like at the Hotel Vischio Kyoto.

This an older hotel and not centrally located .They do provide a shuttle bus to Kyoto station. Staff is wonderful but the room we were given was small and impractical, especially the bathroom. Beds were very hard and the pillows like rocks. Breakfast was very crowded and not impressive.

We came here for our honeymoon. This resort is beautiful, calm, and so serene. We had the opportunity of staying in the Garden Suite and the Oceanview Villa. Each room and the villas are very spacious, clean, and well maintained. We loved how this resort has their own app and you can communicate with the front desk, house keeping, and the restaurants through the app via text! This property is huge and has buggies available to drive you from your room to the free breakfast buffet and around the property. The staff here are so kind and welcoming. They are a very attentive to your needs and an ensure that you have a comfortable stay. You wanted to give a big shout out to Sol (Manager) who helped us with our upgrade from the Garden Suite to the Villa. He even offered us to show the villa to us before we decided to upgrade. A few other shout outs, to other staff at the breakfast buffet- Manny, Honey, Mr.A! They always remembered our coffee and breakfast choices in the morning. They all were so vibrant and uplifting! Special thank you to Manny for going above and beyond, his kindness will be remembered! Lastly, the amazing conceirge staff. They are all so kind! Wut, he always checked in with us during his evening shift and gave great advice on places to visit. Thank you to Pavillions for making our honeymoon so memorable! We absolutely loved it and did not want to leave!
