Lignumvitae Key Botanical State Park Luxury Holidays

Overlap we had a great stay. A few small frustrating things to report. 1. You need to order housekeeping 24 hours in advance. We stayed for two nights, so this would have meant ordering it at check in. At that time, we didn’t know we had to order it. I tried to order it by calling in the evening and early morning, but the reception did not answer their phone. I went down to the front desk early that morning to request, and they told me they could not fulfill it. That was quite frustrating. 2. The other difficult thing is that the towels are located on the first floor and the pool on the seventh floor- inconvenient to have to go down to pick them all up, then go back up to the pool, then down again to return them. 3. The staff were overall not so responsive - multiple times I called down to the front desk and they did not answer the phone. When they did answer, we got whay was requested. 4. We stayed on the fifth floor. There was a combined washer dryer in our unit. The clothes consistently came out wet. The dryers on the floor’s laundry room didn’t work as well. We ended up getting everything to a laundry room on a different floor and the dryer did work. Other than those issues, the rooms were nice and spacious, the rooftop was beautiful, and the location was fantastic - one minute from the beach. I hope the hotel will amend the above issues as the facility and location are great, but the small issues marked above take away from the experience.
