We loved our stay here, the staff were so helpful and pointed out some brilliant walks. We enjoyed our breakfasts both days and the room was lovely.

The carpets in the room are looking a bit grubby. There was a young blonde waitress in the breakfast room that looked like she had just woken up, not brushed her hair and her white shirt looked like she had slept in it, it was so creased and tatty. She also has a bad work ethic standing at the toaster to keep warm and not lifting dish!!

Excellent location with comfortable and clean accommodations. The Grosvenor suite was very spacious, the bathroom was a bit small, but functional. However, It would not have worked for 2 people. A refrigerator and microwave would be nice at least in a common area. Otherwise everything was top notch. Ryan's pub nearby was fantastic!

Stunning interiors, fantastic staff, walkable to the city or 2 minutes walk to the tram/train stations. Overall at a glance everything was fantastic, however I do feel the hotel itself is very much style over substance. On arrival there was no hot water in our room, this was ‘fixed’ promptly however due to the old building the water never stayed hot. There was a large wet patch which kept forming into the carpet in the dressing area (no idea where this came from since there was no visible leak) and the bathroom stank of mildew/mould. As well as this the lighting was incredibly dim, the lights flickered constantly and the natural light was lacking due to tiny windows.

gorgeous rooms, the best staff and lovely food and bar!

Lovely staff and service. Several common areas for relaxing. Bed and room size were comfortable. It was a room for two, however, there was only one chair so one of us had to sit on the bed. The view was very unsightly so we did not open the window treatments. The bathroom was modern and clean except for some mold on the shower tiles. All things considered I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Hotel itself is lovely, great location but had issues regarding room & SMEG fridge being within bedroom itself & not vanity area so had machine noises rumbling on & off all night.
