South Korea Mountain Holidays

We stayed here for 3 nights and found the location to be very convenient and central to most attractions we wanted to visit in Seoul. We also appreciated the Front Desk staff allowing for a slight early check-in as we had a lot of heavy luggages and needed to quickly freshen up to go to a concert in another city that was about an hour away on the subway. The room was very clean and almost fully soundproof and the housekeeping staff were attentive to our requests for additional towels as well as ensuring our room was spotless on one of the days when we requested for the room to be made on short notice. Compared to north American standard, the room we stayed in is considered small. Same for the bathroom- small and compact, but has all the essentials. We paid for breakfast with our stay and tried it once around 9AM- it was mediocre. We've had better tasting breakfast elsewhere around the world so after the first day, we opted to buy breakfast from the vicinity. Upon check-out, the Front Desk staff helped us to call a larger taxi to travel to another province of Korea as we were having a difficult time calling Uber. Overall, this is a great hotel and we will most likely return to Amid Hotel Seoul the next time we need to be close to Insadong and vicinity.
