The garden rooms were nice, with a private outdoor shower, view of the beach from the deck - everything was clean and well maintained. There weren't very many guests which was fine as it was relaxing. Would be even better if you were with a larger group of friends. Great pool for doing laps or cooling off. The beach is tidal, so got to time your sea activities - kayaking, swimming. Spa was great, excellent massages.
The location is 45-60 mins from Port Denerau (US$35 taxi).
There isn't a lot within walking distance.
