"Hotel is okay for a short 1 or 2 night stay, wouldn't book for longer due to the poor ventilation and outdated decor. For the price I paid, was expecting more coming from London.
The gym was being refurbished when I visited, buffet isn't a open buffet. Only allowed to order 1 hot meal, only the basic version which is cold cuts as open buffet. Staff members didn't inform what level my floor was or explain what the booking detailed. There are other options around Killnary."
"We had a well appointed deluxe room with small fridge and air conditioning at this beautiful small hotel close to the Main Street. The bed was very comfortable, the whole hotel spotlessly clean and the area was very quiet and peaceful with a lovely garden and outside seating. Breakfast was table service, tasty & served by very pleasant staff. There is a small well stocked bar for resident drinks. Reception was helpful and welcoming. There is a good range of restaurants close by for evening...
"For almost thirty years we have been coming to The Fairview. James and Shelley O’Neill have been the example of Killarney hearts in how they place service and sacrifice in all they offer to their guests. They remember who we are and the needs. It is a gift to be taken care of by them and their sons. This is what makes coming to The Fairview worthwhile over any other place in Killarney…it is about family for families. Thank you"
"The apartment was very clean and spacious, and very central to downtown.
It was unseasonably warm when we were there, though, and in one of the bedrooms, the only way to let in air was to open the door to the patio. Since the apartment was on the ground floor, we didn’t feel comfortable leaving the door open overnight. I requested a fan from the front desk, but was told none were available. It made for a hot couple of nights."
"The house was perfect..The kitchen was wonderful for cooking..my entire family loved the location...Bernadette had wonderful recommendations and was very helpful. We would definitely stay here again. "
