Kashiko Island Pet-friendly Holidays

This may be the most beautiful hotel we have ever stayed at. Bamboo and a Zen garden in front, a pond in the rear with a view of a lush hillside topped by a castle . Adjacent to the large Urakuen garden. Rooms and lobby decorated in the most tasteful manner. Staff gave excellent service. Adjacent to a river walk and in walking distance to one of the oldest castles in Japan, a large Shinto Shrine, a historic castle street, and a railway station.

The hotel is 15min walk from the main Nagoya JR station (restaurants, department stores etc).

I like the room because it was clean and feels upgraded. Front desk staff speaks perfect English which made communication much easier.

Excellent room, very spacious and great views from the tower. Very modern hotel. Only thing was it didn't have a bar so you had to leave the hotel to go for a drink. Staff were friendly and welcoming. There was an issue with parking though - we paid the fee at the hotel and then were charged again by the car park provider as none of the tickets the hotel provided to us worked (so cost over £70 for parking in the end). We were also stuck at the parking exit gate with a queue of cars behind so had no choice but to pay again. Also car park is a walk away and there isnt an easy place to stop near the hotel to unload luggage.

This hotel is amazing! The service and amenities are truly wonderful. I was shocked for the price we paid. Would definitely stay again. Thank you for a great experience.

The lobby looked very nice, but the rooms felt outdated, more like a 70’s style, which was a bit disappointing. However, the location was convenient — close to fun places like the Owl Café and a matcha course.

Staff were helpful and friendly, room was clean with excellent amenities (including in-room laundry!), and the location was super convenient
