East Dorset District Romantic Holidays

Stayed one night and chose the hotel as it was close to where we were attending a party. The room was quite small, the curtain was coming off the rail at one side so did not cover the window properly, sockets in the room poorly located eg no socket near to mirror for hairdryer and had to unplug lamp to use socket next to the bed. However, apart from those niggles the room was comfortable, clean and did not feel like a bland hotel room. Staff we encountered were friendly and helpful and the hotel is walkable from Kings Cross station.

The property itself is nice but the rooms are not; the junior suite I stayed in was dingy with no view which made it feel dark, dreary and dilapidated.

Quaint modern room above an Indian Gastropub. Do try the butter chicken. It’s delicious. Staff were warm and welcoming. Give them a try!
