Had hoped to walk the area. Didn't realize how easily it happened. Caught up in the beauty of the architecture, town squares and amazing trees. The friendly people of Savannah, including the staff at The Gastonian were a pleasant bonus.

We used valet parking, which was excellent. The hotel was very comfortable and staff were very friendly and helpful. We especially enjoyed the wine and cheese every afternoon and the pianist who played lots of Johnny Mercer melodies.
