Highly recommend paying the rate that includes breakfast. It is a delightful spread of excellent food with good service. The rooms at Nira Caledonia are sumptious, historic and chock full of amenities, including lovely jetted tubs and french bath supplies. The staff is always ready to help you get what you need. The location is outside of the City Centre, but there are many fabulous restaurants near-by and the Royal Mile is only a 10 min ride or a 25 min walk away. We found getting a taxi or ride share to the Museum on the Mound made for a convenient drop off point.

Lovely room, extensive choice at breakfast, well stocked bar, brilliant staff and superb location.

All aspects of the hotel were of a high standard. All staff were so polite and helpful. An excellent venue las far as location is concerned and somewhere I would not hesitate to return in future

Great location, though a small trek from the train station- plan your abilities accordingly. Staff were lovely and it was cute! You do need to be able to walk up stairs with luggage. I wouldn't recommend this for folks with physical difficiluties or little ones. For us with our teens, it was perfect! Also right by "diagon alley" should you be an HP fan.
