Good hotel. Good room - nothing too special but does the job

This is the best hotel I’ve stayed in during my trip to Vietnam. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The rooms are nice. The breakfast is delicious. The rooftop pool is perfect after a hot day. For real, the staff welcome you with a cold drink and a cloth to wipe your hands. We left and came back a few times while we did excursions to Ha Long Bay and Ninh Binh and they welcomed us back each time. On our last day they lined up by the car and waved bye. It was such a wonderful experience.

The staff at the Shining Central Hotel & Spa are all extremely kind. They are very helpful and attentive. The hotel itself was extremely clean and well looked after. We used the spa service as well which was great. They make it feel like a home away from home!

Absolutely wonderful. I stayed twice, on the beginning of my trip and when I returned to fly back to the US. The staff was amazing A special thanks to Ami who helped with check in and out both times and a very special thank you to Jelly who assisted on the concierge desk with many recommendations. I’m returning to the hotel March 2027. Thanks to all, especially Jelly!
