The apartment was beautifully appointed and the view was gorgeous. Would definitely recommend!

Our stay was just ok. The trash was still full and in the kitchen from the previous guest, there were dead roaches, there were dirty popsicle sticks by the pool. The coffee machine didn’t work either. A staff member did drop a different one by after I let them know. We also had the doorbell ring at 2am and wake everyone in the house… apparently this is common when the batteries run low? Seems like they should be routinely changed to prevent that from occurring. None of these issues are big, but combined are quite a few blunders considering we paid top dollar to stay here.

Loved it here! So peaceful, beautiful and an amazing escape. Was a shame the jacuzzi section of the pool wasn’t heated as we were there in off season. Everything else was great! Well worth the price.

Great spacious rooms in a lovely location an easy walk from town, would happily stay again

A gorgeous view from the patio overlooking the marina and downtown Airlie Beach. An easy walk down the hill to restaurants and convenient access to the coastal walk bridging Airlie Beach and Cannonvale. A couple minute's drive to the marina connects you with excursion opportunities. A well stocked kitchen and laundry in the condo. Staff were helpful and accommodating. We loved our stay in the beautiful location!

We had an amazing stay at Hayman Island InterContinental. The rooms were large, beautifully furnished, and incredibly comfortable. The buffet breakfast was excellent, with a fantastic variety of fresh and delicious options each morning. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, making us feel well looked after throughout our stay. There was also a wide range of experiences and activities on offer, so there was always something to enjoy. The island is absolutely stunning, with some of the most beautiful views we've ever seen. It truly is a spectacular destination, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable getaway.

qualia is one of the most beautiful properties we have visited. The setting, architecture, views, and atmosphere truly feel special and uniquely Australian. Our arrival experience was excellent. Noemi provided a warm airport pickup, smooth check-in, and a thoughtful overview of the property and room. The accommodations themselves were stunning. We also had an incredible “Best of Both Worlds” tour with Pedro, who was engaging, knowledgeable, and passionate about the island. It was one of the highlights of the trip. The main challenge during the first 24 hours was inconsistency in service attentiveness. At times, particularly at the pool and during our first dinner at Long Pavilion, service felt less proactive than expected for a property at this level. Drink refills, reservation follow-up, and simple check-ins occasionally required prompting rather than feeling naturally anticipated. What truly elevated the experience was the response from leadership. Rebecca, the General Manager, was exceptional: thoughtful, responsive, attentive, and genuinely interested in feedback. Her professionalism and accountability significantly improved the remainder of our stay. Beach Club dinner was another standout, with warm staff, relaxed pacing, and beautifully prepared food and cocktails. Overall, qualia delivers an extraordinary setting and many memorable moments. Lovely infinity pool. Shame it’s not heated. This the jewel in the crown. Nice enough apartment. Could do with more glasses but actually the kitchen is quite decent. Bathroom needs a deep clean and the balcony door could be more secure. Would recommend and stay again though, although it’s quite pricey compared to some other nearby blocks.
