Room was nice and clean, being able to check-in early was a plus. The bathroom is big for Japan hotel standards, was able to full submerge into the bathtub and relax after a long day of walking. The epsom salt packets were a nice bonus!

Clean rooms though too warm for us. Luckily we are able to open the window. Staff is friendly. Good breakfast selection. Walking distance to Hakata Station. Hotel has coin laundry machine on select floors.

Spacious and clean rooms in a beautifully designed hotel, perfect for books lover but probably not for international guest who do not read Japanese. Receptionist not as eloquent in English and did not know about any “Expedia VIP access” such as free parking only until we explained. No service beverage for guest like most traditional hotels in Japan, bottled water are only provided to match number of adults and charged at ¥200 each. We travelled as 2 adults and 2 children, only 2 bottles of water provided, better could be done in this aspect.

This is NOT a place for you if hygiene is important!! The hygiene is not up to standard and not for Japan. It feels the management have tried to cut operation costs and hygiene has been sacrificed. Bad: - Bins are only emptied at the end of your stay attracting crockaches. In summer rubbish begin to smell if you had food. This does not work well with a hotel offering a full functioning kitchen (as people would be cooking) - We were given one roll of toilet paper for a four night stay for a four bedder. We were told we have to buy more toilet paper ourselves. - We found and killed several crockaches in the bathroom and the living room. - The bathroom ceiling fan and curtain rod and curtain had mold on it. - Toilet paper holder was broken, unsure of intentions to fix . - A towel had yellow spots on it Good: Quiet street, can sleep well. Aircon is good. Water pressure is good Management responded quickly to our request and sent someone to clean the bathroom the next day. The shower curtain was changed. However that is only a temporary fix. I think management should invest in doing a deep clean of the room before leasing out to the next customer.

The spacious apartment is clean and neat. Amenities is good enough.
