Yucatan Peninsula All inclusive Holidays

Upon arrival, we had two people walk into our room without knocking. We did check in just a little bit early, but we figured it would be communicated. A few days later, they came to drop towels off and we didn’t hear the door knocking and they proceeded to also walk in. Other than those experiences, the room was great. It was very modern and spacious. The bathroom door doesn’t finish all the way to the ceiling and close all the way. It did not feel private at all. The pool areas also don’t have a Jacuzzi, which was a negative since the days weren’t too hot and the pool water was very cold. The entertainment of the evening was great every night. The food at the restaurants was just OK. We preferred the buffet since there was more option. The other thing we don’t like is the pressure of trying to buy whatever program they’re trying to sell. The other thing to note would be that our original reservation was at the other hotel which would’ve had our room facing south and would’ve made our pool area maybe a little bit warmer.

First. I just would like to say the resort itself was wonderful to us. Service was so great! Enrique on the beach side deserves a raise! He made it so fun, and his service was TOP NOTCH! The lobby bar was a great vibe. Orlando was an AMAZING bartender! He made the best drinks and he was just so great. The food was alright… not preferably the best, but everything else was fantastic.

When we first arrived we got the worst room with the worst view ever. Overlooking a building that looked like it was under construction even though we paid for an ocean front room with 2 double beds. We ended up getting a room with 1queen bed and a Murphy bed. After complaining to the front desk, we were told there won’t be any rooms available with 2 double beds until the next day. We spent one night and transferred to the oceanfront room on a higher floor with 2 double beds. We debated for a long time before we decided to booked the GR Solaris because of the reviews. The place is nice, but outdated, the staff is very friendly but the food as the other reviewers say is not the greatest at all, the Asian restaurant is the worst. The food has no flavor and everything just seems so greasy and it has no taste. Don’t even waste your time on trying it. The Mexican restaurant was good but the portions are extremely small. The buffet is your best option for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Pizza by the pool is pretty good as well. We got a good on this trip so I won’t complain too much but I am very dissatisfied with the food so if you’re a picky eater, go somewhere else and pay a bit more.I would not stay there again because of the food. The alcoholic beverages seem watered down.We were also told we had to download their app in order to make reservations for their 4 restaurant. Apparently you can only eat at 2 restaurants out of the 4 so you can’t even try all 4 which makes no sense.

My family and I had a wonderful stay! The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. All of the staff was so friendly and accommodating. Pools and water park were wonderful with great service.

The staff at this resort are above and beyond fantastic! Carlos (concierge) and Christopher (beach attendant) at the Reserve were some of our favorites but they were all amazing!
