Loved the stay here. The staff was very friendly and the room was beautiful with an amazing view! Would definitely come again.

The NY dinner was good but the bar drinks were not good at all. They should hire some real bartenders that know how to make drinks. Also the music was not good, they should get an updated playlist with better dance music.

The hotel is a little distance from Patong Beach (although the hotel provides a shuttle bus). The hotel does not have its own beach. The hotel is beside a highway, and there are only a few restaurants nearby. It sounds as if this is not the best holiday hotel choice,right? But you just need to check in.Then you will find that this is a surprisingly good hotel.Because the hotel is located on the hillside, the sea view is very spectacular. The staff are all friendly and always have a smile.With a person with limited mobility the front desk team Joe Sordy and LOH took extra care of us. And lovely Ms.Noodang at breakfast restaurant was so kind to us.She not only explained everything in detail. And make sure our table is clean and the cups are full.She also took the initiative to recommend us and sent us the special dessert of the day. Then let's talk about the breakfast.Hotels in Thailand have never short of a good breakfast.But the breakfast at Kalima is unbelievable.Whether it is the variety or the quality of food.For example you may find bubble breakfast in many hotels.But Kalima take it to an other level.You can even make your own highball here.Such a good breakfast plus a good view what else could you ask for a holiday?

Other things happened, but honestly maybe they were beyond their control. The service however, was exceptional that is why I felt a 4-star rating was earned. The staff handled my concerns with so much care. The daily treats in the hallway and free mini bar in our room, gave a nice touch.A huge thank you to the team, especially the front desk staff.

The gym 1. No towels available in the morning if the 15.th 2. The treadmill needs service. One of has the button to reduce speed faulty. The others need service Breakfast 1. Probably not suited for weatern people. E.g the bacon was something I have never seen or tasted . Not great. 2. The pastry was old or not baked in the early morning. This is so easy to fix and would add calue to your venue. 3. Cold duck was not welcomed 4. The ham and salami probably my expectation was for a better quality/ type. 5. The front end of the property is on the main street and the back end is directly on the beach. You can’t get a better combination than that! My only complaint was with my room choice. I chose the sea view suite at the back end, upstairs with a nice balcony and a private spiral staircase down to the pool and beach. The problem was that the shower wasn’t in the bathroom. It was on the balcony. Makes sense for showering after the beach. Makes no sense for normal bathing. Beachgoers and people in the private yard of the room below could look up at me entering and exiting the shower.
