We stayed for two nights in a city view room. The room was quiet and dark at night and the bed comfortable. The location is great, close to the jetty, the trams and all the cafes of Jetty Rd. The hotel was good value for the price we paid.
Here's a comment I don't think has been made before: The table tennis table in the bar is a great touch but the (rigid metal) "net" is at least 2cm higher than standard.
