Phang Nga Coast Beach Holidays

Staff were very warm, checkin and out were efficient. Facilities more than adequate - pool, gym, restaurant, bar, ktv, beach chairs, guarded parking etc. Room was large, clean and comfy as well. Just 1 quirk... The toilet door badly needs fixing, it can't close tightly and it's extremely hard to slide ooen/close.

We did d not use the spa. Our room did not overlook the beach but it was amazing. We had an outdoor bathroom as well as an indoor one which we did not expect. The room exceeded expectation and the staff were so friendly and helpful.

We were sold by an aerial shot of the complex. It looked like all pools were connected and you could swim everywhere. In reality they weren’t. Not that big a deal but it would’ve been fantastic if that was the case. No happy hour in the swim up bar was a let down. Breakfast and the food in general was good. The staff were excellent.

Leaf on the sands is the perfect place fo couples and families with two totally different pools, one with bar and one for adults. Check in was so quick and smooth and were in our room within 10 minutes. Thank you to all om reception for a great stay Breakfast is exceptional wirh unlimited option on all that is on offer. Service is professional and courteous without being intrusive Room service is immaculate and work within your requirements The pool bar is brilliant with Nge, Pai and Top being the best servers ...ever we love you guys

Easy access to beach.

We were sold by an aerial shot of the complex. It looked like all pools were connected and you could swim everywhere. In reality they weren’t. Not that big a deal but it would’ve been fantastic if that was the case. No happy hour in the swim up bar was a let down. Breakfast and the food in general was good. The staff were excellent.

The Kantary Beach Hotel is quite a 15-20 minute drive north of Khao Lak. As it turned out we were quite happy with that, as Khao Lak is a typical busy tourist town, lacking in any great character. The Hotel did offer regular minibus transfers to and from Khao Lak, on chargeable basis, but we never fealt the need to visit Khao Lak. Instead we spent a few days relaxing by the Hotel pools, and strolling along the beautiful Coconut Beach. We did sample the Hotel restaurant on our first evening, but found it expensive and lacking in atmosphere, compared to what we had experienced elsewhere in Thailand. For others evening dinners we preferred to walk along the beach to a small selection of on the beach local restaurants, where we dined in candlelight as the waves gently rolled in. The local food was delicious and drinks reasonably priced. Our Hotel suite was very spacious and well appointed. Overall a nice place to stay with some good value dining within easy walking distance along the beach.

We had a pleasant stay, it is walkable to a lovely beach. The bathrooms could do with a little updating but the shower was nice. Staff we're friendly. Biggest disadvantage was the fact you had to spend 300 thai bhat one way to get into khao lak its definitely not walkable. On the plus side it was lovely quiet resort with nice food.
