Southern Gulf Islands Cheap Holidays

Room was nice but noticed shower would not have been good for the elderly or physically challenged as it is a tub with shower. Bathroom was large. Nice deep tub but big step over. View was city scape. Only real negative was that there were signs everywhere saying no outside food or drink is allowed in the room. But yet there was a fridge (with no honor bar) plus an ice bucket with wine corkscrew. Ice machine was just down the hall. Mixed message? Would have also liked to have had a small table and chairs in the room.

I highly recommend Opus hotel, very comfortable rooms and well clean, bathrooms has hit floor, the staffs are very helpful and great service.

The hotel was centrally located to the majority of the activities that we wanted to do. Excellent restaurants within walking distance. Capilano Park about 10 minutes away & Grouse Mountain about 20 minutes away.

The Sutton Place is high-end and centrally located. Is a bit stuffy, but each to their own. Staff was helpful, although they had difficulty finding the reservation and some confusion about amenities with my Expedia status (due to glitches in the system – according to them). Rooms are well appointed and comfortable.

Great room at the Douglas, with a very comfortable bed, needs a more comfortable seating in the room though, the chaise lounge is kind of useless.. Great check-in team is very kind and welcoming. ate at the Victor steakhouse and Honey Salt, both excellent
