Overall a great stay. Besides the lobby smelling like cigarettes I’m sure it could be a smoking optional hotel. The lobby is completely self check in and self checkout. The breakfast buffet was great, huge selection of food and drinks. Would highly recommend booking the breakfast when staying totally worth it! Location was convenient for transportation and tourist attractions! Good price.

The open hallway can be very cold at night. Room is moderately good. Has microwave and fridge which is nice. Free sake and public bath are awesome. Has laundry and vending machine. Next to ramen and izakaya. Close to train station with elevator exit. Also very close to bus stop that goes to kyoto station. Great front desk service they called and shipped out my luggage to my next destination in Nikko.

Very close to Kyoto station, the room was spacious and clean. The breakfast buffet was very good, lots of variety and delicious food. I also enjoyed the open air layout of the hotel.
