This hotel was booked in part because it had a pool. Less than a week prior to our August arrival, we were informed that the pool was closed. By then it was too late to cancel and find a commensurate hotel in the area. Upon looking into the pool closure, it was evident that the pool closure began in June - well before our arrival. It appears to have been a planned renovation and reconstruction work.
Secondly, we specifically requested a quiet room. The room was a business class room and there was noise that was heard through the walls and from the halls late at night.
