Thailand Golf Holidays

The property looks nothing like the pictures. The lobby itself is nice but the hallways and carpet are absolutely filthy. We checked into our room facing the golf course. It was disgusting. Dust everywhere. Air conditioner was on and it was blowing a mildew smell unbearable. We went to the front desk to ask for a new room. The customer service was phenomenal. Immediately put us into a way better room it was a huge Difference felt like a different hotel. Breakfast was decent beach access is nice. Definitely worth it. If you book a room facing the beach.

Room are old and staff are very nice.

This hotel is clean and has a lovely setting with beautiful grounds. But it is a ways from the beach so be aware of where you select your room as it’s not beachfront. Having said that, it isn’t a far walk to the beach. We did find the lobby and bar area very hot as there were no ceiling fans or air conditioning as it is completely open. We were there in February though when it is starting to warm up. There are many bars and restaurants close by which makes it convenient.

The hotel is a little distance from Patong Beach (although the hotel provides a shuttle bus). The hotel does not have its own beach. The hotel is beside a highway, and there are only a few restaurants nearby. It sounds as if this is not the best holiday hotel choice,right? But you just need to check in.Then you will find that this is a surprisingly good hotel.Because the hotel is located on the hillside, the sea view is very spectacular. The staff are all friendly and always have a smile.With a person with limited mobility the front desk team Joe Sordy and LOH took extra care of us. And lovely Ms.Noodang at breakfast restaurant was so kind to us.She not only explained everything in detail. And make sure our table is clean and the cups are full.She also took the initiative to recommend us and sent us the special dessert of the day. Then let's talk about the breakfast.Hotels in Thailand have never short of a good breakfast.But the breakfast at Kalima is unbelievable.Whether it is the variety or the quality of food.For example you may find bubble breakfast in many hotels.But Kalima take it to an other level.You can even make your own highball here.Such a good breakfast plus a good view what else could you ask for a holiday?
