The room was in good condition. The only issue, the bathroom door couldnt close, room 407. The stopper was in the wrong position. Maintenance was notified. My key card and the one next door, room 408, wouldnt work the first, second and sometimes it took five times to unlock.

Around the hotel lots of restaurants, coffee shops, grocery.
Relax and quiet hotel.

It's a tale of 3 rooms ! our first room, 261, was excellent, quiet, warm, smallish but fine for 2 nights pre-cruise.... 11 days later we returned, and the next room, 850, was nice EXCEPT it backed onto a service elevator and made noise all day and mort of the night ! the hotel immediately moved us to a new room, 805 as soon as we commented....
The hotel itself is fantastic, old world charm, very good location near restaurants and tourist spots, and the staff are the best we've ever experienced ! Bags immediately taken to our room, doors opened, very helpful.... yet the price is about average for numerous other hotels in the area... I would highly recommend this hotel.
