The hotel is a bit old and could probably use a remodel. However the hotel is clean, has a nice onsen, and the customer service was very good. My kids also enjoyed the outdoor pool the resort has. I would stay again if I visited Hamamatsu again.

Beautiful historic hotel in the Hakone area with a great legacy. Excellent food and service, nice rooms and a beautiful interior and external grounds. One of the best hotels in Japan.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel at a very high level. The staff also welcomed us and took care of the additional requests we had. They have an excellent dining room and a wonderful pool.
