The amenities included pajamas, toothbrushes, hairbrushes-incredible customer service. The people working the reception desk were polite and knowledgeable. I cannot recommend this place enough!

We had a fantastic stay at Monday Apart Premium Kyoto Station and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kyoto. The accommodation was incredibly spacious, which was a real luxury after busy days of sightseeing. Everything was spotlessly clean, modern and well maintained, making it feel like a home away from home. What truly made our stay special was the outstanding staff. Every member of the team was welcoming, friendly, and genuinely helpful. They always took the time to chat with us and made us feel valued as guests. On more than one occasion, when we were completely lost trying to navigate the transport system and find our destination, the staff went above and beyond to help us work out the best route and ensure we got where we needed to go. Their kindness, patience and dedication to customer service made a lasting impression on us and played a huge part in making our Kyoto trip so enjoyable. We would not hesitate to stay here again and would gladly recommend Monday Apart Premium Kyoto Station to family and friends. Thank you for such a wonderful experience! 😊

We loved everything! When we arrived it was peak check-in time but the front desk staff were plentiful and checked everyone in quickly, which was impressive! Super friendly and attentive staff throughout the hotel (bar, restaurant, housekeeping and as mentioned front desk staff). The room (jr suite) was decorated tastefully and the sound system was a nice surprise old school tube and horn system!

This is my second time stay with them. Everything was perfect except for their shuttle bus service. We have our 2 kids touring the city and ran to the shuttle bus station before the last bus schedule. The driver was still loading people into the bus and he refused to take us even when I showed him our shuttle tickets! We were exhausted after whole day walk around then had to walk again to the taxi stand to grab the cab. We spoke the front desk of the incident right after we got back that night. They said they would investigate and provide feedback. The following morning when we were checking out and were sort of brushed off with a finding is that driver did not know that we wanted to take the shuttle! I emphasized to them that I was showing the hotel shuttle tickets to the driver. But hotel did not follow up with the case or give us the refund for our cab ride either. That’s quite disappointing considering that this is a high standard hotel.

Nice stay!

After staying in tiny Japanese hotel rooms, we loved staying at Hotel Banister. Big western style hotel rooms with room to spread out. Just enough out of the way to be quiet but still close to major transportation stops. Big bathroom with an Onsen style shower and tub. Closest konbini was a little bit of a walk away, first time we've run into that in our travels in Japan. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay here.
