We enjoyed our stay at Clarion Suites Gateway. We were a group of 5. The staff were extremely helpful and quick to deal with a couple of minor issues. We were upgraded to a penthouse suite which was very much appreciated. They accommodated the bed layout we needed and the bedrooms are large and comfortable. The apartment was spacious and had fabulous views across the river. We would recommend this property, which is ideally located, close by to main Melbourne attractions and public transport.

Everything was good clean apartment The View is amazing.. the only complaint we have is the reception at the building was rude and not helpful she said her name was Virginia.

Everything about this accomodation is excellent. The location is superb with the tram right outside the front door and its proximity to the city and riverside. If you are visiting the city, save some money on car rental and just stay here. Within walking distance to an abundance of amazing cafes, restaurants, bars, and all of the festivities along the riverside. Definitely recommend and we will be staying here again.

While this is a beautiful old hotel, it does come with some issues. The HVAC in our room did not work. We asked 3 times to get fixed. Luckily the windows can open but the street noise was very loud. The shower was nice but water splashed everywhere due to the small glass door and very slippery. Dated but full of charm. Not a 5 star but perhaps a 4.

Our stay at this hotel was truly wonderful! Staff were friendly and engaging. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were delightful. Will be back when we visit Melbourne again!
