We recently came back from a week's stay and couldn't be happier with our experience. Firstly the reception staff were smiling, welcoming and professional. The Manager Luigi personally came over and introduced himself and couldn't do enough for us throughout our stay. We had a couple of very minor issues with the room which they addressed very quickly and without any inconvenience while we were near the pool. He would regularly make a point of asking how we were during our stay. The restaurant Manager Francesco and server Ivan - who looked after us most days were also very friendly and welcoming. We chose to eat breakfast on the terrace outside of the restaurant each day to make the most of the poolside setting and beautiful weather and they always accommodated this without question. Nothing was too much trouble. David who was on the main bar was always smiling and chatty and seemed to genuinely enjoy his job. He would bring drinks out to the pool and go the extra mile when it came to making drinks extra special. The hotel was always clean and is in a superb location walking distance of the tower and main areas with Pisa. The pool area and loungers were really modern and felt up market as did the hotel in general. Highly recommend.

The room had a very very dirty floor, a very old and bad smell (we left the window open so we can breath) and the paint in the room is very very bad. This is maximum a 1 star hotel. The pool walls were green of dirt and the outdoor floor was also extremely dirty. There is no way this a a $226 per night hotel; maximum $50, and that is if you are willing to stay in a place with mold. Shame on the General Manager and the owner of this hotel and shame on the Minister of Tourism and the local tourism board for allowing this place to have 4 starts which tricks tourists into booking a room there and then not being able to cancel. Expedia should delist this hotel.

First impressions- I was a little bit unsure. Google maps - you have arrived, I look around and cant see the hotel front, its in a small shopping complex which isnt the nicest looking HOWEVER once you walk into the hotel, its lovely and welcoming. Very quiet. The room was clean and it was walkable to both the tower and central areas aswell as the airport. We stayed here as we were flying home from Pisa. Ideal for this purpose and we were able to come off the train, drop our bags off and go an explore. This hotel is yards from the station. Staff were friendly

The property was well located but the room was very small. There was a bad 'blocked drain smell" in the bathroom and it also affected the bedroom
