My biggest “surprise” for this property was the entrance via a lane way. Be warned that the laneway is a common area also used by local restaurants to store their dumpsters! So as long as you’re okay walking by trash every day to get to the entrance, the property is fine. Also, the property consists of 3 apartments which you enter via a stairway. Apartment 1 is on the first floor which means you need to climb a flight of stairs to get it. I was given apartment 3 which means I had to carry over 120+ lbs of luggage for my wife and myself up 4 flights of stairs! So if you’re not fit, be warned! Once in the apartment, the space itself was very good. It was newly renovated and it even had a washer to wash your clothes. The bathroom does suffer from no hooks to hang your towels and a shortage of counter space. Management… please add a few hooks for wet towels!

Wir haben vier Nächte in diesem Apartment verbracht und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Besonders positiv war die Kommunikation: Wir wurden mehrfach gefragt, ob alles passt und ob noch etwas verbessert werden kann – das haben wir selten so erlebt. Die Lage ist unglaublich zentral. Royal Mile, Grassmarket und Castle sind alle zu Fuss in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Dazu kommt eine tolle Aussicht. Die Ausstattung hat uns überzeugt: sehr schöne Dusche, Seifen und alles, was man braucht, war vorhanden. Sogar ein Marshall-Lautsprecher stand bereit. Das ganze Apartment ist süss und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt: Die Klimaanlage kühlte teilweise sehr schnell sehr stark herunter, und die Bedienung war für uns nicht ganz einfach zu verstehen. Mit etwas Probieren ging es aber. Insgesamt ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt – klare Empfehlung.

We did have a mix-up with our booking, as the room was reserved for three people but didn’t have a sleeping option for the third guest. However, reception responded quickly and made things right, which we really appreciated. Overall, we had a lovely stay and I would definitely stay here again.

非常棒的飯店，位於舊城區的靜巷！地理位置優越！房內空間大，設備新穎，床超舒服的！兩套衛浴非常方便，進出雖無櫃台，但很安全！值得推薦的飯店！真的很棒！

飯店雖然離市區有一小段距離，但門口就有公車站，交通還算方便，服務人員非常用心，房間也很舒適
