「Location is very beautiful and the cabin is very comfy. The 2-2.5 mile drive up is very manageable in dry conditions. However, it rained while we were there, and the mud was quite slippery going up or down. We had AWD, but it was still was difficult at times.」

「This is such a special place, we will hopefully be back again in the future. Perfectly tucked away in the hills of Carmel Valley, once you're there, it feels like you could be somewhere very remote for how peaceful it is. If you need quick access to Carmel, Monterey etc it could be too far BUT if you have the time for a nice drive each way it’s totally worth it. Host was very helpful and responsive. 「We had a wonderful stay and beautiful experience at this property. The guest house is very well appointed, spotlessly clean with a beautiful zen garden patio. Everything was top notch! Communication was excellent, proactive and responsive. We appreciated Jae and Bob allowing us to check in prior to standard check in time. They are the most friendly and gracious hosts. 「I have stayed at all sorts of beautiful vacation rentals in amazing areas, and this is the only one that I have ever wanted to revisit. The cabin, charming, I loved the decor, rustic elegance is what comes to mind. So many fun details. The house was completely stocked with everything. The property manager was very responsive and accommodating. You couldn't ask for a better host. The location and property simply magical. I can't wait to go back.」

「Don't pay extra to have the pool heated! We did and they never heated it. There wasn't even water going into the pool so I'm not sure the pool is ever heated. They also wouldn't refund us for the money we spent "heating" the pool or answer my messages about it while I was there. And the pool cover was broken and took up an extra two feet of the pool. The pool's one of the biggest draws of this property, so just a heads up.」
