「On arrival reception was efficient but not overly friendly. We had a pleasant room overlooking the well kept golf course. Cleanliness in the room was good but a little extra attention in the bathroom needed; dirt around plughole, shower hinges and darkened grout around the bath. Food and service was very good. We had been advised the day before that due to a technical fault the swimming pool was closed, but were given a bottle of wine and free access to the thermal spa which was very generous....

「Fabulous, our room 402 had a huge balcony with views over the estuary and of the pier. Staff were very friendly and attentive, evening meal of sharing steak was cooked exactly as we like it and breakfast was also very nice, highly recommend the full English for the hungry or sausage muffin. The location is also great, up on the cliff away from the noise but only a short walk to the lift and no more than 5 minutes walk to the pier.
