「The stay was very comfortable and the room had everything you would need! Only thing is that the double bed did not really have a double mattress. They had actually cobined 2 single ones which made it a bit uncomfortable. 」

「No lift to the upper floor, not mentioned or if it was not prominently enough. My partner has mobility issues and two flights of stairs is painful and very inconvenient!」

A few healthier choices involving Salad would have been welcome. Breakfast exceeded expectations as we thought the buffet would be more like a continental breakfast but in fact included bacon,scrambled eggs,sausage,tomato and hash browns. Well done!!」

「 This hotel is certainly outdated and in need of a refurbishment. That said the room was very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a lunch which was good with a selection for vegetarian and lovely puddings. This is an ideal place for walkers or cyclists who maybe on a limited budget but want privacy and a lovely warm bath at the end of a day on the Pennines. 」

「This hotel was perfect for our stay. The room was clean and roomy. Bathroom with shower large and modern. Every member of staff that we came across was polite, helpful and friendly. A special mention for Bassam on reception. When we arrived to check in he was dealing with a very awkward and irate guest (who was completely in the wrong). Bassam dealt with everything in a most professional, calm and polite manner.」

「The Huntsman Inn is a beautiful property with amazing staff and incredible views. The place was very well maintained and the staff were incredibly wonderful and friendly. It's a shame we only stayed one night and would love to go back here again. The room was cost and warm, the food was good and was definitely worth the trip. 」
