"Great experience. Parking was easy right across the street. Very clean and convenient to everything. Breakfast was delicious with plentiful options. The kids enjoyed the arcade room and their tatami room bed. Staff was very helpful and arrived right away to help us with the bed when we requested it. We especially enjoyed the free bikes with children’s seats - it was so easy to bike along the boardwalk right outside, and our sons are already asking to go back. "

"Staff are helpful and polite. Stayed in room with lake view and it was quiet and peaceful (on Friday night). Breakfast variety is plenty too. Hotel provided complimentary fireflies watching as it happened to be fireflies mating season. It’s just a short walk to get public bus to Taichung HSR station and catching ferry at pier. There’s free 2 hours bicycle rental. If you are there on non peak season, they can allow u to use it for a couple hours. "

You can walk along the lake to the cable car station and the Nine Frogs Stack 九蛙疊像. Even though the opening hours of some food stores are quite unpredictable, there are plenty of options and two convenience stores around."

It won’t be a problem if you are a hiker and the view along the trail is awesome!!! the shabushabu u can have for dinner was quite good there too. It saved my time searching food. "Depends which room you get. I got a fantastic view of the river valley that i extended my stay for a night. Some rooms face the wall! Spring water was very good, but the onsen only opens at certain hours and swimming cap is required. Tub in the room is a bit small and cramped into the toilet. It will be best if the river can be seen from the tub. Service staffs friendly, provided breakfast lack variety (it’s the same for the 2 mornings). "
