“It was quite inexpensive so my expectations were low. The room was clean and the beds were quite comfortable. Very happy with that. The pool area definitely needs a refresh. My wife always looks forward to a good hot tub. She wouldn't touch this one. Needs an overhaul. However, for the price the hotel was good and the most important parts were clean (the room).”

“The staff is very nice and accommodating, that is definitely the most standout aspect of this motel. The weakest point is the condition of the linens/sheets/towels. There are many stains on the linens which is very off-putting as guests can't know what those stains are from, and these come into direct contact with the body and can't be avoided. “Purpose of our trip was to visit relatives in Vernon. The Tiny Anchor Loft suited our needs nicely. Basic necessities were provided, very nice decor, and the condo was very clean and well organized. Although we weren't there in summer, It's a great area for walking or jogging and the beach is close by. When we needed to reach the owner, we were able to get in touch with her without difficulty. “Unfortunatly this motel continues to decline. Rooms are very dated, furniture & fixtures old. However bed was comfortable. Has mini fridge & microwave. Most of the rooms are rented on a monthly basis on ground level so you will have to climb some stairs. Close to food/restaurants. fairly noisy area,bring ear plugs. Not the best part of town but priced accordingly.Lower grounds fenced off for the long term tenants with no access to pool,( which was empty anyways.)”
