「On arrival reception was efficient but not overly friendly. We had a pleasant room overlooking the well kept golf course. Cleanliness in the room was good but a little extra attention in the bathroom needed; dirt around plughole, shower hinges and darkened grout around the bath. Food and service was very good. We had been advised the day before that due to a technical fault the swimming pool was closed, but were given a bottle of wine and free access to the thermal spa which was very generous....

「This trip had to be cancelled at very short notice due to a serious family health crisis. The hotel kindly waived their charge as I had booked a non cancellation room. Obviously did not expect this. 「Stayed here for a family event with my extended family. The room was spotless if a little dated. The bathroom was also exceptionally clean and the shower worked well. It does need a little investment, the furniture and furnishings are tired. Breakfast was good if limited in choice. All the team were pleasant. If you're looking for a comfortable, unflashy stay this hotel perfect.」

「What a wonderful place to stay! The lodge we stayed in was perfectly suited to us. Loved the veranda and the table and chairs so we could sit outside in the evening with a view across the lawn and to the trees. Breakfast was a feast - only disappointment was that we were only there for one night. We plan to return and stay for longer next time. 」

「One night stay for a business trip and arrived quite late so restaurant and bar were already closed. Early start so did not stop for breakfast so not able to comment on the food. Room was ok, comfortable and had the usual facilities. Very helpful young lady on reception who lent me a phone charger as I had left mine behind. 」
