「We had a two night stay here in May. Firstly I’d like to say that the staff were superb especially Lucy who seemed to be there every second of every day looking after us checking in, out, breakfast and dinner. Thank you so much. The rooms were clean and the beds were big snd very comfortable. Excellent location in a lovejy area with shops a 2 minute walk away and the station 5 mins away to get into central Manchester. Overall a really nice stay in a nice clean hotel.」

「The room was clean, well furnished and had a cozy feel. We would stay here again, however, there were some minor issues. The toilet flush ran continuously and was audible at night. The cover over the shower plughole was broken and the lead on the kettle was too short and had to be used on the floor. Also the mattress was too firm for us.」

「So please we booked for the Wheatsheaf whilst on the way to Scotland with friends. Staff were so helpful, dinner (steak night) was brilliant as was the cooked breakfast the next morning. Loved the interior decor of the pub and the bedroom. 」

「One night's stay at the Partridge for a wedding taking place nearby. Room was very spacious - and the bathroom even more so! Very comfortable bed. We asked to check out late the next day and was initially given an extra hour, but then weren't able to accommodate - so staff offered us free coffee in the dining area whilst we waited, which was a lovely gesture. We had dinner and breakfast here, which was excellent and portion sizes were generous.」

「Hotel is right in the heart of Buxton, a convenient walk from the station. It was absolutely buzzing the whole time we were there - bands both nights, live sport in the day, but with the rooms being in a separate building out the back of the pub, it was amazingly quiet after the yard had been emptied. Cross Key Hotel passer utmerket inn i bildet og er ett hotell/pub med sjarm og høy standard på rom, dog kan selvfølgelig noe pusses på og en Beer Garden sommerstid var flott å sitte ute på. 「A nice stay but could have been excellent with a bit more attention to detail. Could have done with a vacuum. Shower gel hasn’t been replenished and pillows weren’t great (not much to them). Great location for bars, restaurants and shops. Easy online check in with key codes entry (can’t generally get in early as it’s unmanned and doors don’t release until 3pm) - guy cleaning did let us in at 2:30pm though which was kind and appreciated. Parking is a pain (not owners fault) car park next door...

Comfy bed great stay right next to tram station
"One of the receptionist seems a little cheeky and wasn’t very helpful or friendly as such. The slimmer figure with long straight hair one was nicer. Sorry didn’t catch their names. The room size is not huge, a little bit like what you would expect compared to staying in London. Toilet hanging bar got a little rusty. But a part from that the room is clean and nice bed. Curtain is dark enough for a good sleep. The building is located at the side of the street so not noisy at all. If it wasn’t for the receptionist I would happy to provide 5* overall. "
