I cannot say enough about the food, service and hospitality shown by all staff after staying here for 3 nights. The food both at breakfast and dinner was perfect; the location to other towns in the vicinity is second to non. Highly recommended

Great pub with fantastically appointed rooms and excellent breakfast. For the price I could not fault it for a stay near the Cheshire show grounds where we were attending an event.

The Inn was a friendly well run place with good food and staff, being near the Trainline to Chester/ Manchester was useful too. The only issue we found was the width of the bed, too narrow! A 4.5 foot bed is too narrow so our sleep was not too good.

Good size room with large comfortable bed. All except one window was painted shut which meant condensation and some mould on the bottom of the net curtains. It wouldn't stop me staying again but would be better if fixed. Good food the one night we ate there. Excellent to have the electric car chargepoint available for overnight charging.

We only had an overnight stop here, but it was a great place to stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room and general public areas of the property were all fine. We had an evening meal and a full breakfast and they were both very tasty. Having an EV charger (22kW) in the car park was a really useful bonus as we left our car to charge overnight. Would definitely stay here again.

Great pub, lovely staff, lovely food, amazing clean and comfy room with 4 poster bed. Only slight criticism is food portion size, the full English equivalent was one slice of bacon, one small sausage, one hash brown etc…and dinner was much the same - which was a shame as it tasted so lovely.
