「Great hotel and great location. **Just be aware of the hidden charges.** car parking is an additional £5, use of the pool is an additional £5. Food onsite is Ok. I personally had a little issue with my food, but it was resolved with a free drink. I Would stay here again, just need to be aware of those sneaky extras!」

「Banchory Lodge was beautiful, the rooms were large and there was no noise from adjoining rooms. The setting was peaceful and in the morning all you can hear is the river Dee. The food was amazing and plentiful. 」

Staff were professional and courteous. The breakfast was superb in the morning although I did not have much appetite early on I wouldnt have gone hungry if I had been ready for food. Lovely natural yoghurt with fruit compote and honey and although I didnt actually eat the bacon barm at breakfast I took it...

「This place was incredible! When it said beach view, it means that literally. Very spacious And super clean. Excellent bed and linen. A fridge stocked with fruit, milk, juice, eggs, bread yogurts and water was lovely. Very narrow parking area. Super nice host!.」

The evening “boards” you could order were delicious. But by far the best thing of all was Joyce and Gary’s warm hospitality. We want to return. 」
