“A brand new hotel it was clean and comfortable with few people in residence during the week of end May 2024. I had called the hotel directly to get a price Amazingly almost double the rate I booked through Hotel.com. Handy to all areas of town. Good restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance ”

“The bar was a great place to relax after a 4 1/2 hour road trip. Shower was great! Just miss not having coffee in my room. I understand it would be difficult to fit it into the room. Breakfast in the restaurant was a treat especially before the Timber Sport Competition at Paul Smith College. ”

“We loved staying at the Trailhead by Weekender. Easy getting into the room, wonderful bed, clean and quiet. I loved that there were no spiders or bugs in the room! The only thing I would suggest is to have a lighter blanket available rather than just the heavy comforter - it took us until the second night to figure out the A/C and Heat in the room and the first night I was very warm. I loved the decor and the black ceiling! We'll stay again! Diane Hecht”

“We were in town for a hockey tournament and it was a perfect place to stay so we didn't have to eat every meal out. We were in and out for games and didn't have any issues. The host let us check in an hour early so we could unpack before our first game. Overall great experience--would stay here again next year.”

“My spouse and I stayed at the loft over Memorial Day weekend and it was a perfect fit for us. We hiked 6 high peaks in 3 days and my sister-in-law joined us for 2 of them. The loft was clean and quiet and we loved the trail to the swimming area. Whitney is a great host and pro-active with communication. Highly recommend!”

“We enjoyed staying in this small but perfect size cabin for my husband and teen son. Our friends stayed in the cabin next door with their family. The location was close to the main street, which is a quaint Adirondack town with nice restaurants. It's 20 minutes north of Lake Placid and 10 minutes from all kinds of winter activities. We will definitely definitely be back.”
