「The hotel is in an idyllic setting and well presented. Sadly, the spa facilities are only available to guests who purchase a treatment. There was some confusion with communication: I received an email telling me the hotel was closed after I had booked and indeed there was a sign at the entrance of the hotel indicating it was closed, when it was not. 「A lovely country retreat in the Cotswolds. Loved every minute. Easy drive to other Cotswolds villages, to Blenheim Palace and even to Oxford. How are you what you doing?」

「If you like old and quirky then this place is ideal! Yes it’s a little tired and could do with a little tlc in places but the bed was comfortable (which for me is a huge plus). It’s in a very convenient location for walking around town. Plenty of cafes etc nearby as well as Sainsbury’s and Co-Op. 」
