“Exactly as shown. Absolute beautiful & right on the ocean. If you are looking for some place very quiet this is it. Easy to walk to a few local restaurants & vendor that sells fresh fruits & veggies. Need a car or take Ubers to get anywhere else so if you are looking for somewhere with a lot going on this probably isn’t the place for you.”

“Wonderful property, perfect for our multi-generational family. Ana from Yellowfin Tours became our go between with staff, a big help and Google translate! Jimmy house manager was right on any issues! Mercedes and her crew kept us cleaned up and the pool guy was great! We used the recommended Chef for 3 nights, very good and very reasonable. We did rent the golf cars to get around town and to the restaurants and grocery. Sure beat the price of rental car we didn’t need, all our tours pick us up……

“The host was very responsive and even late at night, she accommodated my group quickly. The house had everything we needed. beach towels, beach chairs and kitchen amenities. The only downside is that there are alot of ants inside the property but i know its common around the area so we got bit quite a few times unfortunately. The pool area has a grill and common area to share. Overall great experience, we definitely will be coming back.”

“My friends and I go on a group trip each year. There were 13 of us (all 30+) that stayed in the house for 6 nights and it was great! We rented golf carts to get around Potrero and Flamingo. It was easy to ride the roads in the area with a golf cart. The house is in walking distance to Hemingways and a few other restaurants and markets. It’s a quiet area at night, not too close to restaurants so you can hear everything, just a good close enough distance to walk. We felt extremely safe and……

“We had such a fantastic time at this lovely house in Potrero that my kids still lovingly refer to as “our mansion” - we were treated like royalty for a few days by our masterful chef and lovely cleaning staff, as well as Moises, our bartender. It was very hot when we stayed, and we had a bit of trouble with the AC units, but help came promptly and everything was repaired. I give this property my highest recommendation!”

“The property views were excellent. The house cleaner was always there to clean and do Landry. The groundskeeper was there for us when we needed him. The appliances, toaster, coffee machine should be updated. It’s not an expensive endeavor. We were not able to visit with our guests as much at the house because we spent a great deal of the time in our respective bedrooms. The balcony was perfect for enjoying the ocean views, scenery and bird watching. The pool was great for hanging out and staying……

“Wow! This property is a hidden oasis in Potrero! A group of 12 ladies came to live the Pura Vida life in Costa Rica for one week and stayed at this wonderful retreat. “This view is amazing and the sunsets are incredible! Quiet area and still close to all you need! The town had all the groceries and fresh fruit we needed for our stay. Plenty of really good places to eat all around. Close to the marina if fishing is your thing! Close to hiking and waterfalls if that’s what you want to do. “The property was wonderful. We had 4 couples staying for a 60th birthday get-together. The bedrooms were very comfortable and spacious. We spent a lot of time in the pool and went boogie boarding and kayaking. We drove the golf cart or walked to town where there is a grocery store and restaurants. Hemingways is very good! “Potrero Bay is truly a gem. This area is authentic Costa Rica with the bonus of Villa Elysian, a modern and manicured property, popped in the middle of paradise. The host and property manager were amazing. They helped arrange our pick up and return to and from the airport so the trip couldn’t have been any more carefree. “This was our first time visit to Costa Rica and we had a fantastic stay. We had 10 people and were 2 families with 6 young adults in their early 20's. The house was huge and provided plenty of space for all. We opened up the full sliding glass walls to the covered patio and enjoyed hearing the waves in the evening, the amazing sunset and the infinity pool directly off the patio.
