Competition is tough so finding the right place can be like rolling the dice. Lindley's Little Gem exceeded my expectations! Cleanliness is very important to me. I'd give this a 10 out of 10! Although this is a small one-bedroom, one-bath older home (cottage), it has a large bathroom with a deep soaking tub, big walk-in shower, good thick towels……

“Completely refurbished older cottage fenced all around with security gate at driveway. Neighborhood remake underway with an interesting mix of new buildings, some undergoing renovation & a few that still need to be started. Good walking distance for me (maybe a mile?) to the Brazos parks with fascinating old bridges & of course the longhorns/cowboys larger-than-life statue group. Maybe 1/2 mile to Franklin Ave. business district with so many quaint shops, eateries & most importantly, an auto……

“This was an annual sibling trip along with spouses - had a wonderful time! This house reminded us of our growing up in an older home on Tres Palacios Bay. This house has been beautifully restored by Fixer Upper. We especially enjoyed the front porch and were amused when a wine tour bus stopped for about 5 minutes as the house was on their tour route. The location is excellent and very convenient to the fine restaurants we dined at.”

“If you are looking for a unique rental, look no further! This quaint treehouse takes you away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the quiet atmosphere and reading. There is no television. The description is accurate, so if you're not looking for this type of rental don't stay here. The owner was extremely kind and made sure our stay was great!”
